Holy Cross Church II

This was the second view of this church that I was commissioned to draw. It is a towering structure that sits in a little village on the Minnesota prairie. The only things that challenge the height of church steeples on this landscape are silos, water towers and antennas -- of which few are very interesting to look at.

The elements of this picture go straight to the heart of what I want to accomplish in my work: develop forms within a well defined space.
