Ticket

I had never really been around horses until I spent some time with my family on their ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Horses are beautiful creatures, but are they ever moody.

This horse was a frisky young racer when I got this picture of him. I had to coax him to sit still for five seconds to get this shot. What I got in the photo really captured the majesty and the regal stature of a horse, which is the characteristic that I wanted to convey in the drawing.
