The unimaginative title best describes this drawing -- a picture of a waterfall.
However, the reasoning behind the drawing is a bit more involved. This was originally
an exercise in stippling. I wanted to see if I could draw a picture using only
the stippling technique. (Stippling is a method of drawing in which dots from the
tip of the pen are the only marks used.) I found that for the waterfall itself and rock formations
this was acceptable. Drawing the wooded areas required lines. In the end, my desire to use only one
technique proved inappropriate, but the stippling yielded nice texture and deep
shadows.
